Yarmouth, Maine – As part of its Community Outreach initiative, New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland’s (NERHP) certified driver education specialists recently presented an hour-long program on Driving Safety for Seniors to the Yarmouth Senior Citizens. Susan Hitchcox and Suzie Kelley, both occupational therapists at NERHP, provided tips on visability, seating, responsiveness and adapting to personal limitations. Yarmouth Seniors tested their knowledge through exercises that resulted in great discussions.
