Pre-Op Program
The goal of New England Rehabilitation Hospital's Pre-Op program is to educate each participant in pre- and post-operative rehabilitation.
This is accomplished by educating participants about:
- adaptive equipment reccomendation and demostration of proper use
- tub and car transfers
- sexual positioning to maintain hip precautions
- home excersive program for pre-op strengthening
- gait training and appropriate weight bearing
- assesment of assistive devices.
